RALEIGH, N.C. — Well, someone has to pay the diaper bills. This makes it easier. A North Carolina woman gave birth to a daughter -- and hit a $100,000 Powerball prize hours later in the North Carolina Education Lottery. Brenda Gomez Hernandez, 28, of Concord, hit it big on Nov. 9 with a healthy baby girl to go with her two sons, and a healthier bank account to foot the bills for her newborn and the rest of her family. 'I feel like she brought me my luck,' Hernandez told lottery officials in a news release after collecting her check on Wednesday.
